Inspired by Disney legendary colorist and illustrator Mary Blair, the Blair typeface is a whimsical serif typeface. Created to embody the work of Mary Blair, the type is built on six prominent shapes inspired by pieces of her work throughout her career. These shapes make up the shape language. Some of the features that make Blair unique, is the exaggerated serifs inspired by Mary’s work on It’s a Small World and the slight tilt in the stems of the letterforms are inspired by her work on Cinderella. The typeface includes both the upper and lowercase alphabet, numbers and symbols.
